Clovis

East gym will have a running schedule from 8am-Noon to do our annual hero workout, Clovis. It is a 10 mile run and 150 burpee pullups. You can switch between the movements as you desire. Plan for this to take 2+ hours, so make sure to be at the gym by 10am to start, or modify the reps down to finish before the gym closes.

U.S. Army Second Lieutenant Clovis T. Ray, 34, of San Antonio, Texas, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, based in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, was killed on March 15, 2012, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his wife Shannon, son Dean, parents Bob Ben Sr. and Cecilia, brothers Eddie and Bob Ben Jr., and sister Jennifer.

Low key feel like a quitter at 8.8 miles and 105 burpee pull ups but that was my longest running experience plus outside wind tunnels got to be a bit much on tired legs. Max socializing transition times for extra gains.
