Alexander

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq has taken many of our country's greatest men and women. The dead no longer have a voice or a say in our country's matters so it is my personal honor to do these workouts every Friday. Every drop of sweat, every grunt, every knuckles you give to the people in your class after the workout is our way of honoring the fallen and should be a source of pride for every one of us doing it. Come and join us for Hero Forged Friday and if you want stick around for a few beers afterwards.

Have a great Friday.

Staff Sgt. Alexander G. Povilaitis, 47, of Dawsonville, Georgia, assigned to the 570th Sapper Company, 14th Engineer Battalion, 555th Brigade, was killed in action on May 31, 2012 in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device.

16:04 35# for back squats and cleans
Did 55# for cleans earlier in the week but the number of rounds and reps suggested I go lighter .... kinda wish I would have challenged myself more. Did banded pull-ups after starting with 5 and adding 1 each round up to 10 rounds total of 45 ... goal is one strict pull up
