T-Rex

Got a chance to talk with my good pal Billhelm Hoisington after the coaches dinner and I was congratulating him on his PR Clean & Jerk today. I have been watching his scores on the whiteboard as of late and I really wanted him to know that I’m impressed with his progress in the last couple weeks. We came to the conclusion that all it took for him to start making was to just show up. Show up, that’s it. He doesn’t have bad days anymore because he knows he’ll be back the next day to try again and after continuous daily effort it happens. It meaning progress. Bill shows up, does the work and records it on the whiteboard. Oh and he’s lost 20 pounds too. If you want to get better at this just show up and  enjoy the ride. Record your progress too as it’s a visible reminder to yourself that you are putting the work in. So nice work Billhelm and to everyone of you that are simply just showing up to do work!
